THE COLLEGE CLUB OF RIDGEWOOD

Membership ~

Through numerous annual fund-raising events, College Club earns substantial funds necessary to perpetuate and expand the financial assistance programs. For the forthcoming 2007-08 academic year, the Educational Fund awarded grants totaling $70,000 to 103 young women, while an additional 18 loans totaling $82,000 were awarded through the Memorial Scholarship Loan. Our fundraisers included Las Vegas East Casino Night, Literary Luncheon, Fashion Show, Book Fair, Capers, Women Honoring Women, Memorial Day Run and the Thrift Shop.

Our regular meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at which carefully selected speakers, experts in their fields, present topics of interest to our members. Childcare is provided by reservation for the meetings. In addition, small groups that focus on the specials interests of our members meet throughout the year.

Membership in the Club is open to women of all towns who are graduates of an accredited four-year college or university, has earned an associates degree or its equivalent of post secondary education, or holds a degree from a foreign university that has been adjudged eligible for membership.  College Club depends on hundreds of dedicated volunteers who are committed to the pursuit of excellence in education. We strongly believe that with the opportunity for quality education, society will ultimately benefit.
